a great day

It has been a fairly productive day. When Mark and Max were at young mens camp, Russ and I started tearing out the grass on the east side of the driveway. I have done bits here and there since then, but it has progressed slowly until today!! Russ and Tim dumped rocks and bark down on the driveway a week ago, then yesterday they brought in boulders. I went and got plants this morning, while Russell evened everything out and put the fabric down. We planted all the plants then put the rocks and bark down. It looks really great, and Russell has been so good to do this for me on top of the work he does with Tim everyday. When I figure out how to add photos, I will put one up of the side yard. I am so glad that we were able to get most of it done today. I will think of Russell every time I pull into the driveway!!
Mark and I biked 30K and ran 5k. Jim Sutherland came with us. He rode a heavy mountain bike and kept up pretty well. What a trooper!!

Again, you rock. How long is your triathlon?

And also, your blog is adorable and I love "The way I am" by Ingrid Michaelson! Suzanne actually sent me some CD's not too long ago, and that's my favorite song on them all!
